Ministries of Hospitality

Ushers & Greeters~ The role of the usher/greeter is to welcome parishioners and guests upon entering the church. Ushers assist parishioners to locate a seat, assign people to present the gifts, are responsible for taking up the collections, guide the communion procession in an orderly, reverent manner and distribute the parish bulletin at the doors of the church following the Mass. Men, women and young adults in high school or older who are worshipping Catholic parishioners are invited to participate. Ushers must be willing to serve as needed at Saturday/ Sunday liturgy, special liturgical services, and holy days. Contact: Vincent Colonna at 516-593-1347.

Hospitality Sunday’s Committee
Members coordinate the Hospitality Sundays from October through May. The committee’s role is to ensure that an atmosphere of welcome and good fellowship is offered to all. Responsibilities include set-up and clean-up of the hospitality locale and replenishing the refreshments between each Mass. Teens are welcome to participate for community service.
